But when circumstances such as delay are involved, I crumble pretty quickly. As a player, I don't handle pressure very well (in any game, really) so I always like to be the one in control. In any case, when I fight the occasional lag warrior, I either: turn off my PS3, let them win then turn off my ps3, or send them a message after the game lol. Once you've realized that you're in this mentality, then you'll have more room for analyzing what your mistakes were. I've lost to people in Leo mirrors (she's my main) because I'm over-analyzing on what they could be doing instead of what they're actually doing. I think most people are aware when they are playing someone who is clearly worse than them, but it is still very capable to lose to those people. TL DRSo my question is what do you do when your opponent lag switches? Do you keep playing like you normally would or do you have to play differently? I myself haven't really come across too many of them so I really wouldn't know what to do.īump: You have to get rid of the mentality that the person you were fighting wasn't good. The connection was 10/10 but as soon as the third round starts the connection starts to get shitty, I'm thinking "He's lag switching probably, but that's not stopping me." I win again and in the final round the connection seems to get worse! So were both down to less than 30% health I do half of King's 10 hit combo, that gets him confused,I immediately switch to Lars,I do uf4,1,2,d2 and win, that was just enough to finish him off! So I lose the first two rounds(I say he isn't good yet I'm losing :P) and this is where I think "Alright I gotta get my shit together, now I gotta analyze his patterns." he constantly tries to hit me with Leo's db3 but since I also play Leo I manage to turn the tables and win the round. So then I'm facing a Leo and Heihachi and right from the get go I realize this guy is isn't that good, like his Leo wasn't fluid(does that make sense?) and he just used Heihachi's 1+2 moves. So I go to player match and I picked King(I started playing him) and Lars.
